Rebecca flipped out her badge long enough for him to read R. Gilmore, P.I. Will snatched it from her and took a good look. She had all the license information there and a fancy badge that at first glance, looked really official. She probably got it from a mail-order place.
He looked up from her picture to see those intense brown eyes staring at him from the shadow of her black hat. His stomach clenched. She was just as beautiful as ever. And all at once, the picture of her naked in the moonlight washing over the desert flooded his memory, along with the sound of her and the coyotes howling at the moon.
