poetry

Fiction is just that – fiction. You may pull from your life experiences, stories from others, weird Uncle Zeek or a bar-freak named Bite Me. But in the end, what you have created is a new world which only exists on the pages of your book. Poetry, on the other hand, is all about reality. At least, that’s how it has always been for me. Poetry expresses the angst of growing up, the loveliness of an autumn afternoon, the anguish of death, the joy of a newborn child. If you don’t go for poetry that’s okay. You can hit the “get me outta here-the woman’s nuts” button.

Hot Tamales

While working the job he always knew he would — Deputy U. S. Marshal out of Tucson, Arizona — William Coulter runs headlong into Rebecca Gilmore, the girl who took him from solemn teenager to fierce sexual manhood. Only problem is, she’s now a beautiful, unorthodox private investigator working against him on his current case.

William Coulter is the only man Rebecca Gilmore ever loved, the one she allowed to tear her heart apart years ago. Here he is again as large in life as he’s been in her memories. And he’s interfering big-time with her attempts to help her fugitive client. Not to mention making her hot as a firecracker all over again.

Will the Marshal win back the trust of the fiery P.I. he lost eleven years ago? Or will she castrate him at high noon?

Locking Horns

High school comes back to haunt Alexis “Lexi” Cunningham when she finds herself doing community service in Charles Town, West Virginia at Harlan “Buddy” Beckett’s cattle ranch. Buddy was the school trouble-maker she had no time for. Now she has to make time for him--100 hours of time to be exact.

Buddy Beckett’s favorite fantasy thirteen years ago was arrogant, unapproachable Alexis Cunningham. Much to his delight, she’s gotten herself into trouble with the law and her retribution includes cleaning stalls in his barn. Quite a come-down for the girl who considered herself better than everyone else in high school.

Thrown together in one crazy situation after another, Buddy and Lexi discover that life can toss some pretty big cow pies into the ring--including the big “L” word, Love.
